A beautiful Durban winter’s day was the setting for the KZN IFBB East Coast Classic. Athletes from as far as Vryheid made the trip to Durban to compete in what is arguably becoming one of KZN’s most well supported Bodybuilding & Fitness Championships.
Putting it all together was the KZN IFBB Committee and supportive sponsors, BodyGuru & sport supplement brand, SSN, who ensured that the show ran without any hitches. This year, due to popular demand, the Classic underwent a change and incorporated divisions for both Novice and seasoned competitors alike, drawing a full house of over 650 spectators. Line ups were highly competitive making the judges task all the more difficult to select the top 8 in a division and then go on to pick a winner.
At the end of the day, it was Stone Cele, the Open Senior Men over 75kg winner, who epitomized the ideals of symmetry, muscularity and conditioning giving him the ultimate recognition of Overall Winner. Stone hails from Hillary and is a member of Nick Rust’s Better Bodies Gym.The KZN IFBB, BodyGuru and SSN congratulate Stone Cele on his win and look forward to seeing him on stage at the IFBB KZN Bodybuilding & Fitness Champs taking place on Saturday 23 August at the Opera Theatre, The Playhouse.
